Intro…

Hello my name is Jon Habeshy. I am a licensed physical therapist assistant. I’ve been a competitive bodybuilder for over a decade and have recently begun personal training. I’m using this blog as a support to my training business, for current and future clients, and anyone who wants to get sound fitness advice. 

Why should you listen to me? Before you think about following that magazine diet or training article; don’t worry, I’ve done it. Thought you found the holy grail of gains and ended up fat or still skinny? Yep, I’ve done that too…. ad nauseum! In other words, I’ve made the mistakes and I’ve learned from them and I want to keep you from making them. There’s so much misinformation out there and you can find it anywhere! I know because I’ve looked everywhere for the secrets to a great physique. 

So here’s the secret… it’s hard work and consistency! There, I said it! You can a check to my PO box…. in all seriousness, I’m not selling anything else. What I will give you is a sensible and workable approach to bodybuilding and fitness. Don’t want to look like a bodybuilder? I have great news, you won’t! But there are some things that you can learn from us iron pumping folk!

I also want to demonstrate how you can reach your fitness goals with a limited budget. Every year I manage to accomplish more with less and it’s a testament to how important mastering the basics are. Follow along with me and learn how to unlearn the misinformation!
